When I did my research once I settled on what I needed I then looked at negative reviews, DOA %, and other data. ASUS and ASROCK didnt have as many rear IO port options for the same price. This board is the least expensive when matched against the features it comes with. So it was already loaded up for the i7 4790k. Received a V1.1 with BIOS F6 pre-installed.
